Monsters (65.dat)

Monsters (65.dat) documents the 22 monster records in 65.dat, the second of the game's monster definition files (record type 9 in the NN.dat format — a 32-column stat line per record). It continues the per-file monster catalog begun at Monsters (64.dat); the flavor text is transcribed from cpt65.txt (Korean~English). Together 64.dat + 65.dat supply most of the monsters whose drop tokens are catalogued on Monster items.

The confirmed columns are the same as Monsters (64.dat): col1 = dat number, col2 = record index, col3+col4 = the (dat, entry) drop reference, and col9 + col24 = inaba.dat appearance-row references (col24's Mn-set groups species families). 65.dat sharpens two earlier guesses and corrects two "unused" columns — see Record columns below.

Drops are not always monster-items. col3 is the drop's category dat, usually 36 (Monster-item) but not always: Gliareus (65,3) has col3 = 11 and drops 11.dat #32 = Gliareus' liver, a food item. So col3/col4 is a general (category dat, entry) reference, confirming the earlier read.
